For all things outdoors - rafts and splitboards for me - AQ Outdoors is the place to shop. They have the best selection, a great website and excellent customer service.I had a shipping issue with the raft I purchase recently. Pete has worked on and maintained my boat for over 5 years, seen it through repairs, enhancements and seasonal services, and has it running better than the first year I bought it! He's a wealth of knowledge, not only about boats but the area and the sea. Great guy to work with....prompt, efficient and throughly professional.

A great and affordable experience for anyone in the Ottawa area. The captain was very friendly and accommodating as well. The boat takes a great route through the Ottawa river and stops at some of the best places to experience Ottawa at its best. Overall it was an amazing experience, I highly recommend it.

My experience attending the Calma Sailing on-board classes from June 5-9, 2023 was wonderful! The well-cared-for and clean boat added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. It's great that Dominic was so knowledgeable and patient, making him invaluable in my journey as a novice sailor.The classes covered both practical and theoretical aspects of sailing, and I feel I gained a solid foundation in both sailing and docking the boat, in light to moderate winds. The successes gave me confidence and made the experience more enjoyable.Dominic's enthusiasm and lifelong dedication to his own learning and teaching are evident in his approach. It's inspiring to have an instructor who is passionate about their craft and shares that passion with their students.The food was flexible, I preferred vegetarian, and every meal was delightful.I had an exceptional learning experience during the on-board sailing classes. Having a skilled teacher like Dominic has made it very enjoyable.

Had the opportunity to take two courses the ROC-Marine, and Small Domestic Vessel-Basic Safety course through Safer ocean systems. Ryan Masson has been a great instructor both times. Thanks again.

Patrik is a very patient and knowledgeable instructor. Our group had some very different personalities and levels of experience but Patrik made the experience enjoyable and gratifying for everyone.I would recommend Patrik wholeheartedly as a source of knowledge, experience, and feedback.I hope to sail with Patrik again and would encourage anyone looking to sail or improve their sailing to look him up.JR

My family went on the Quick Start Kayak Course where we spent two fantastic hours on the water with Joel from Aquabatics. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and you could see that he loved teaching the skills. His enthusiasm was great to see. It was money very well spent and i wouldn't hesitate to do another course with AQ Outdoors. We got way more than we expected and feel way more comfortable in our kayaks now. Thanks Joel, you did great!

Highly recommend for a terrific time in a beautiful part of North Vancouver. The instructors are punctual, professional and fun. Will definitely be back on my next visit

Great marina facilities, clean, deep channel, courteous dock hands.It's a bit weedy, but based on protection it's expected.Close enough for a dinghy ride to Marine Outfitters for those parts you need.
